"Harbut" is still used today as a slur or as a definition of someone's behavior.

But the word "harbut" means more than immoral.

The word originates in the Skrapar area. In that area there are several villages that are considered "harbut" villages by the inhabitants.

The inhabitants of these villages lived without norms or order, with almost animalistic behavior even in relationships within the family.

In these villages, it was normal to have sexual relations within the family. No other village had any dealings with these villages.

They were "HARBUTS".

For example, Ilir Meta originated from one of these villages.

Over time, the word has lost its true and full meaning. Today, it is used as an insult for a tactless person.

But the true meaning is that of a rude man, without social norms, without morals, and with animal instincts.

Harbut doesn't know any family. So no one lets him into the house. Harbut can't be accepted as a friend in the house, because he will immediately start spying on the women of the house.
