They practiced prostitution in a rented apartment/ 2 Romanian citizens arrested

Two Romanian citizens were arrested in the city of Fier after engaging in prostitution in a rented apartment.

From the police operation codenamed "Transit", a sum of money, suspected to have been benefited from this criminal activity, 1 vehicle and 5 mobile phones were seized, and 2 citizens, beneficiaries of this activity, were criminally prosecuted.

Announcement:

As a result of investigations conducted using special methods, for another prostitution case, specialists from the Trafficking Investigation Section at the Fier Police Department, in cooperation with the services of the Special Operational Force, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Transit", arrested the following citizens:

ID, 21 years old, and GB, 45 years old, both residing in Romania.

These citizens had rented an apartment in the city of Fier and had adapted it for practicing prostitution.

As material evidence, 250 euros and 5,000 lek, which are suspected to have been derived from this criminal activity, 1 vehicle, and 5 cell phones were seized.

In this case, 1 citizen residing in Divjaka and 1 citizen residing in Fier, suspected of benefiting from this activity, were criminally prosecuted.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further action. /CNA
