The operation conducted by SPAK in Uji i Ftohtë, Vlora, included the apartments of the criminal group led by Inez Hajrulla, successor to Edison Harizaj. During the search, cartridges and many phones were found, according to reports by journalist Klodiana Lala.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Inez Hajrulla and his right-hand man, Ervis Matodoshaj, who have not been arrested so far.

According to reports based on Sky ECC's investigation and various evidence, the two are accused of organizing and carrying out the murder of Gentian Qarri in February 2021.

A third person, Flodian Plaku, is now also accused of international cocaine trafficking and is being tried for the murder of Gentjan Bejtja. He is currently in high-security detention.

Arrest warrants have also been issued for four other people, one of whom is in custody, two others were arrested in Italy and the last in Ioannina.

Inez Hajrulla is considered a dangerous criminal contingent by the Police, having escaped two previous assassination attempts, in 2017 and 2019. The operation shows the commitment of the institutions to crack down on organized crime structures in Vlora and surrounding areas./ CNA
