Wanted for various criminal offenses/ 6 people arrested

Tirana Police have finalized the police operation codenamed "Catch 6", within which 6 citizens wanted for various criminal offenses were captured and arrested.

According to the official announcement, the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, after field checks and information obtained through operational means, managed to locate and arrest the persons wanted by justice.

Narcotics Investigation Specialists, in collaboration with the Investigation Section, arrested citizen KM, 32 years old. He had been sentenced by the Court of Appeal to 3 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", and had 1 year, 9 months and 20 days left to serve.

Meanwhile, Crime Investigation specialists at Police Station No. 4 detained citizen MN, 25 years old, sentenced to 3 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."

Also from Commissariat No. 4, in cooperation with the Investigation Section, citizen EK, 24 years old, was arrested, sentenced to 10 months and 20 days in prison for the criminal offense of "Stalking".

On the other hand, specialists from Police Station No. 7 detained citizen LH, 43 years old, sentenced to 2 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Theft", which remained in attempted form, as well as citizen Xh. A., 35 years old, wanted for "Theft" committed in collaboration.

Also, specialists from Police Station No. 5 arrested citizen GK, 22 years old, wanted for the criminal offenses of “Theft”, attempted theft and “Destruction of the electrical network”. This citizen was handed over to the Dibër Local Police Directorate for further procedural actions.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further legal action./ CNA
