The Dibra Police have revealed details regarding the operation, where an operative of the "Eagle" forces was injured. Inspector GM suffered bodily injuries after falling from a perimeter wall during the capture of citizen Klodian Llomi (Mazari), 35 years old.

The latter was arrested after being wanted for the criminal offenses of "Criminal Organization", "Exploitation of Prostitution" and "Drug Trafficking" in Italy. The 35-year-old will serve the remaining sentence of 6 years, 7 months and 2 days in prison for these criminal offenses.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the police officer has been transported by helicopter to Tirana for more specialized medical assistance.

The police operation codenamed "Decision" is being finalized, to capture a wanted citizen.

The Court of Appeal's decision for the 35-year-old man, to serve the remaining 6 years, 7 months and 2 days in prison, for the criminal offenses of "Criminal Organization", "Exploitation of Prostitution" and "Drug Trafficking", offenses committed in Italy, is being executed.

In continuation of the work to prevent and combat illegality, as well as to capture persons declared nationally and internationally wanted, based on information provided by police intelligence about a wanted citizen, the investigative structures of the Dibër Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the "Eagle" Special Forces of the Dibër DVP, in the early hours of this morning, successfully finalized the police operation codenamed "Decision".

As a result of quick and coordinated actions, citizen Klodian Llomi (Mazari), 35 years old, resident of the village of Kërçisht, Maqellarë, was captured and arrested in Maqellarë.

This citizen was declared wanted after the Court of Appeals recognized the sentence of the Rome Court of Appeals in Italy, where he will serve the remaining sentence of 6 years, 7 months and 2 days in prison for the criminal offenses of "Criminal Organization", "Exploitation of Prostitution" and "Trafficking in Narcotics".

Meanwhile, during the course of this operation, a police officer of the "Eagle" Special Force, Inspector GM, fell from a perimeter wall while apprehending the wanted person, suffering bodily injuries.

The police officer was transported by helicopter to Tirana for more specialized medical assistance.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, for further action. /CNA
