3 Albanians extradited from Germany and Italy on narcotics charges

Three citizens accused of criminal activity in the field of narcotics, aiding and abetting illegal crossing, and corruption are being extradited from Germany and Italy.

During the police operation codenamed "The Wanted", the following internationally wanted citizens were extradited: Ibrahim Anxhara alias Ibrahim Potka, 27 years old; Samoel Terolli alias Jetmir Hysenaj, 46 years old, and Genci Balla, 51 years old.

Announcement: 

The procedures for the extradition to Albania of the internationally wanted citizen Ibrahim Anxhara alias Ibrahim Potka, 27, were finalized. In 2024, the Korça Court sentenced this citizen to 3 and a half years in prison, for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".

The extradition from Milan, Italy, of citizen Samoel Terolli alias Jetmir Hysenaj, 46 years old, was carried out. This citizen had been declared internationally wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezha, in June 2023, sentenced him to 5 years in prison, for the criminal offense of "Aid for illegal border crossing", committed in collaboration.

Also from Italy, the extradition to our country of citizen Genci Balla, 51 years old, resident of Durrës.

Citizen Genci Balla was declared wanted after the Durrës Judicial District Court sentenced him to 2 years and 8 months in prison (the remaining part of the sentence is 2 years, 2 months and 23 days in prison), for the criminal offense of "Passive corruption of persons exercising a public function".

The international operation codenamed "The Wanted" continues. /CNA
