Action in a store in Tirana/ 40 thousand euros worth of smuggled clothing found,

A business was discovered in the Babrru area of ??Tirana where suspected smuggled clothing was being sold, with fake logos and without issuing sales invoices.

During the police operation, clothing with expensive brand logos, worth around 40,000 euros, was seized from the store.

The store administrator, citizen EN, 38 years old, was also arrested.

Announcement:

Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section, following controls and verifications, with the aim of identifying entities that carry out their activities informally, avoiding tax obligations, finalized the operation coded "Etiketa 1", during which a shop on "Demokracia" Street, Babrru, was discovered to be involved in this illegality.

As part of the operation, the store administrator, citizen EN, 38 years old, resident of Babrru, was arrested.

During the checks at this entity, various clothing items with logos of international brands, suspected to be fake, worth around 40,000 euros, were found, without invoices confirming their origin.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action./ CNA
