Raped pregnant cohabitant/25-year-old Albanian extradited from Belgrade

A 25-year-old man was extradited from Belgrade to Albania and the security measure "Arrest in prison" imposed by the Dibra Court was executed against him.

Citizen KM is accused of severely raping his pregnant cohabitant in January of last year, 2025, with hard objects and punches.

"Specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes at the Dibër DVP executed the decision of the Dibër Court for the internationally wanted citizen KM, 25 years old, resident of Tirana, against whom the security measure "Arrest in prison" has been assigned, for the criminal offenses "Intentional serious injury" and "Domestic violence". As a result of the cooperation between Interpol Tirana specialists and Interpol Belgrade specialists, during this phase of the international operation, codenamed "The Wanted", the procedure for the extradition of the 25-year-old from Serbia to Albania was finalized," the announcement says. /CNA
