Domokos Prison Raid/ Greek FBI Finds Cell Phones and Knives in Alket

New raids were carried out in Domokos prison cells by Greek FBI officers.

According to the Greek media 'Protothema', among the cells searched was that of Albanian convict Alket Rizai, as well as another well-known Albanian convict named "Sandri", the main organizer of the transport of 1.2 tons of cocaine to Astakos in Aitoloakarnania from the Caribbean, in January 2020.

Cell phones, chargers, and knives were found in Riza's cell, despite the fact that just 24 hours earlier, they had re-entered the same prison, conducting searches in 17 cells.

Ongoing operations in the country's security institutions, as reported by competent sources, will continue in the context of preventing the import of weapons, drugs and any other illegal activity. /CNA
