57 kg of drugs and weapons seized/ Two people arrested in flagrante delicto

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section at the Vlora Local Police Directorate, following information obtained through operational channels, about two citizens suspected of being involved in the transport and sale of narcotics, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Brotherhood".

The Police Services stopped and searched the suspected vehicle, type "Volkswagen Touran", in which citizens FM and LL were traveling.

During the search of the vehicle, a quantity of suspected cannabis, prepared for sale, was found and seized as material evidence.

Following the operation and procedural actions, from the search carried out in the apartment of citizen FM, resident of the village of Trevllazër, Vlorë, the Police services found and seized another quantity of cannabis, a total of about 57 kg of suspected cannabis narcotics.

Also, during the search of the apartment of citizen LL, resident of the village of Mavrovo, Vlora, 1 automatic firearm, model 56, was found and seized, along with a magazine with 30 combat cartridges.

At the end of the actions, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:

-FM, 41 years old, resident of the village of Trevllazër, Vlorë;

-LL, 40 years old, resident of the village of Mavrovo, Vlora,

for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Illegal possession of weapons and ammunition".

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
