He was carrying firearms and ammunition without a permit/ 66-year-old man

A 66-year-old man has been arrested in Berat for carrying firearms and ammunition without a permit. The citizen with the initials BT has been placed in handcuffs.

According to information obtained during the search of his warehouse, the following items were found and seized as material evidence: 1 rifle, 1 pair of pistols, and combat ammunition.

Police announcement:

Berat/One citizen was arrested for illegally storing firearms, hunting weapons and combat ammunition in a warehouse.

Specialists from the Crime Investigation Section at the Berat Police Commissariat cracked a case of illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.

As a result of the actions, citizen BT, 66 years old, resident of the village of Galinë, Berat, was arrested in flagrante delicto, after during the search carried out by the Police services in his warehouse, the following were found and seized as material evidence: 1 firearm (rifle), 1 hunting weapon (pair), as well as combat ammunition, which this citizen possessed without permission.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
