"2700 euros to France"/ Two people arrested, caught transporting illegal immigrants

Following the successive crackdowns on criminal activity in the field of smuggling immigrants from third countries to EU countries, specialists from the Illicit Trafficking Section at the Tirana Police Department cracked down on another case by arresting the following citizens:

-AM, 24 years old and IV, 22 years old, residents of Kukës.

These 2 citizens were caught red-handed by the Police, at the place called "Kashari Crossing", transporting 5 immigrants in a vehicle, to whom, in return for a payment of 2,700 euros each, they had been promised transportation to the final destination of France.

1 vehicle and 2 mobile phones were seized as material evidence.

Investigations are ongoing to fully document this criminal activity, identify and apprehend other citizens involved in it./ CNA
