65-year-old woman dies after being bitten by dog/owner arrested

A 65-year-old woman died yesterday evening in Belsh, after being bitten by a dog. In connection with this, the police have arrested citizen GA, 68 years old, who was the owner of the dog. Meanwhile, it is also reported that the victim was the 68-year-old's sister-in-law.

"Crime Investigation Specialists of the Cërrik Police Station arrested citizen GA, 68 years old, in flagrante delicto, after yesterday, the dog he was carrying bit citizen EA, 65 years old (his brother's wife), who consequently lost her life ," the police statement said.

The 65-year-old woman was bitten on the leg by the dog, causing severe bleeding, and could not survive the injuries. /CNA
