Violated duty procedures/Two Road Traffic Officers in Fier Suspended

Two traffic police officers in Fier have been suspended from duty.

The announcement made states that inspector Sh. Ç. and inspector IL have been suspended, after they committed acts in violation of standard procedures while performing their duties.

A disciplinary investigation has also been initiated against them.

 

 

Police notification

 

The Directorate of Professional Standards at the General Directorate of the State Police has immediately suspended from duty inspector Sh. Ç. and inspector IL, with the duty of urban/interurban traffic service troop in the Urban/Interurban Traffic Section, in the Road Police Sector, at the Fier DVP, for disciplinary violations provided for in article 121, point 1, letter “m”, of Law no. 82/2024 “On the State Police”, “Committing actions that seriously harm the image of the police officer, the institution or the police service as a whole”.

 

The disciplinary suspension was imposed after, while on duty, they committed acts in violation of standard work procedures during the control of a driver, and are suspected of committing corrupt acts. A disciplinary investigation has been initiated against these employees for serious violations.
