The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, expressed readiness to bring Ukraine and Russia back to the talks.
In a video message for the summit held in Tirana, Erdogan accepted the 10-point peace plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
He emphasized that he will continue contact with all parties to establish security.
"Turkey supports Ukraine's independence, security and territorial sovereignty. We will participate and contribute to the rapid construction of Ukraine.
We have made all our efforts, although it is never enough to establish peace. I continue to maintain my vision of having a long peace to resolve things diplomatically and give dialogue a chance.
We must use all diplomatic channels to achieve our goals. In principle, we support President Zelensky's 10-point peace plan.
We, too, have been supportive of his plan to ensure food security. For the Peace Plan to succeed, it must involve all parties. We remain in contact with the parties in the Black Sea and we will work to establish security", underlined Erdogan./ CNA
