The Kosovo Police has provided additional details regarding the arrest of Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla, as suspects in the murder of Liridona Murseli, an event that has shocked public opinion. 

The blue uniforms indicate that during the police checks, a pistol with 19 bullets and a car that were used in the serious crime were found and confiscated. The case is classified as "Aggravated murder".

"Serious murder - St. Dalip Alshiqi, Pristina 29.11.2023 – 20:18. Regarding the case, three Kosovar male suspects have been identified and arrested. A pistol with 19 bullets and a car that were used accidentally were found and confiscated. By the decision of the prosecutor, the suspects were taken into custody", the police announcement states. 


The media in Kosovo report that Murseli, Liridona's husband, allegedly paid Granit Plava 30,000 euros to kill his 30-year-old wife. It is reported that he had given 15,000 to the serious crime, and another 15,000 after the murder.

Liridona Murseli was killed on Wednesday night, while she was traveling with her husband and children towards her home in Pristina. The event was all staged by Naim Murseli, the former councilor of Behgjet Pacolli. His full testimony has not yet been disclosed, but Pacolli's ex-advisor will now face justice for Liridona's murder./ CNA
