20-year bonds, interest fixed at 6.5%/ May with new auctions

The Albanian government held the auction for 20-year bonds yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Finance, an amount of around 2 billion lek was announced in Monday's auction. While the demand from the market was over 2 billion lek.

The accepted uniform yield was set at 6.50%, while the maximum required yield reached 7.20%.

During the current month, May, individuals and businesses have other opportunities to invest in government securities.

Referring to the published calendar, in May there will be a reopening of 2-year bonds, a reopening of 5-year reference bonds, a reopening of 3-year bonds, a new issue of 7-year bonds, 12-month treasury bills, and an auction of 6-month treasury bills.
