After some information received in the newsroom, CNA verified the data from several citizens who claimed that the family doctors were connected to the laboratories and function as their employees.

Cases start in Elbasan, Tirana, Korçë, Fier, etc.

The government trumpeted the Check Ups as a success and then announced the lowering of the age group that would benefit from the free basic check-up, the group was lowered to the ages of 35-70 years. While people over 70 started having problems with their tests, as they could no longer be registered in the system.

Fraud scheme
