"Sterilization" hearing postponed/ Defense requested time to review

The hearing at the Criminal Court for the "Sterilization" file is postponed for the defendants who have accepted the summary trial.

The next hearing for Ilir Rrapaj, Klodian Rrjepaj and the 6 others will be held on October 15 at 1:00 PM. The reason was the defense lawyers' request for more time to prepare their objections to the SPAK findings.

It is reported that this has also led to the reaction of SPAK prosecutors at the hearing, who reminded the lawyers that this is a repeated request even though the deadlines have been sufficient.

On June 25, 2025, SPAK filed a claim and requested:

Klodian Rjepaj 10 years in prison/ 6 years and 8 months from the summary trial

Ilir Rrapaj 10 years in prison/ from the summary trial 6 years 8 months

Marsela Serjanaj 3 years 6 months / from summary trial 2 years 4 months

Sajmir Kadiu 3 years 6 months/ from summary trial 2 years 4 months

Petref Mersini 3 years 6 months/ from summary trial 2 years 4 months/ suspended sentence and 4 years probation

Arben Gjata 1 year 4 months, suspended sentence and 3 years probation

Genc Byrazeri 2 years/ suspended sentence and 2 years probation

Naile Ajazi 1 year 4 months / suspended sentence and 2 years probation./ CNA
