MIE and Polytechnic University sign agreement for students/ Balluku: Today we

Today, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy (MIE) and the Polytechnic University of Tirana signed an agreement between them, as a step towards supporting and preparing students through paid internships, with the aim of their professional training, as well as close on-the-ground familiarization with all infrastructure development processes.

Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku stated that today a new window has opened for young people, as it marks a new beginning related to another enterprise, the Albanian Road Authority.

This agreement, Balluku emphasized, has another element, which is gender equality, which is not lacking in our country.

"Today we open another window for young people. As I said, this is in line with the agreement with the university."

This agreement marks the beginning of a new initiative that is related to another enterprise which is ARRSH. There is another element to this cooperation, gender equality. The World Bank which is the financier of this program has gender equality as a priority.

"In heavy industry, transport and energy, there are many women and girls who contribute, we do not lack gender equality," said Balluku./ CNA
