The School of Magistrates today approved important changes to the training program for candidates for magistrates, state attorneys, and legal advisors and assistants.
Through an announcement, the School of Magistrates informs that the new program is more practice-oriented, paying special attention not only to legal skills but also to non-legal skills, integrity and ethics.
"The new program approaches mentoring the candidate; towards the preparation of step-by-step acts; towards interaction, analysis, debate. The skills and competencies that are targeted are part of the daily routine of the profession," the announcement says.
According to this school, these changes also address the recommendations of the European Commission for the School of Magistrates, as obligations arising within the framework of the EU integration process.
At the end of the initial training program, candidates for judges, prosecutors, state attorneys, and legal assistants will be ready to serve the justice system./ CNA
