The head of the High State Control, Arben Shehu, raised this Tuesday the concern about the sale in Albania of ice creams contaminated with Ethylene Oxide.

He stated that Ethylene Oxide causes tumors, leukemia and affects reproductive capacity in men.

For this reason, the head of the HSC requested to carry out analyzes and investigate the factors that influenced the increase in tumor patients.

"It is not only important to implement our recommendations, but it should be brought to your attention as in this particular case, you should set up working groups for analysis mainly on the situation in health, for the analysis of the growth of tumor diseases in health", emphasized Shehu among others in the Economy and Finance Commission./ CN
