For more than 10 days, our country has been under the influence of an African heat wave, where temperatures have reached over 40 degrees Celsius, a situation which is expected to continue at least until the end of this week.

For this reason, this Wednesday the Albanian government is expected to approve the proposal for shortening the working hours in the administration.

According to the proposal, it is foreseen that the schedule will be: From Monday to Thursday 9.30 - 15.30 and Friday 9.30 - 13.00.

In advance, it has not yet been announced how long the rule will last.

Meteorology experts and doctors recommend that during these days, you avoid leaving the house at noon, when the temperatures reach the highest values.

Kosovo is one of the countries that has made a decision to reduce working hours, as a result of the difficulty caused by the weather situation./ CNA
