Today, the Supreme Court examines the recourse of Berisha and Malltez to change the security measure

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court will give the decision on the recourse of the former prime minister Sali Berisha and Jamarbër Malltezi, who asked for a change in the security measure "house arrest".

The decision will be given by judges Ilir Panda, Sandër Simoni and Sokol Binaj.

A schedule has not yet been set by the court as to when the decision will be made by the three-member body for which Berisha's lawyers had previously requested to be excluded from judging the case.

SPAK accuses former Prime Minister Sali Berisha of having committed "passive corruption" in cooperation with Jamarbër Malltez, his daughter's husband, while he has taken concrete actions in approving laws and by-laws to adapt them to the needs of the five owner families in the "Partizani" sports complex, where his son-in-law was also a direct beneficiary. /CNA
