Fredi Beleri is in Strasbourg, where today he will be sworn in as a member of the European Parliament under the slogan of the party in power in Greece, "New Democracy".

On Monday morning, Fredi Beleri left Fier prison, after taking 5 days leave to be sworn in as an MEP from the "New Democracy" party of Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis.

It is learned that his freedom will last only 5 days, this permission approved by the General Directorate of Prisons. During the prison premises, he was received by his wife and the car of the Greek embassy.

After leaving the prison, he headed straight for Athens, where he was also received by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. 

After arriving in Athens yesterday, Beleri said: "I am happy and excited to hug my people. I am proud to receive the rights as an MEP. I thank the Greek Prime Minister for his trust and choice. He proved that he is the leader of all Hellenism and protects the Greeks wherever they are."

He sent a message to the Himarians where they were told that "they are not alone", while he argued that "the European Union should not allow the will of the people everywhere within Europe to be disrespected"./ CNA
