Prime Minister Edi Rama during his speech at the international competition, where 5 well-known European studios will present to the jury the project ideas for the new Rozafa, which will renew and expand the city's main hotel, with a new capacity for Shkodra that is reborn day by day and acquires the new dimension of a destination of Tourist Albania.

Rama said that there will be 5 possibilities, where one of them will be chosen to build an object, which is not just a private object, but an object that is intended to turn into an icon of the century for Shkodra.

"5 international studios with undoubted reputation have participated and in turn bring 5 opportunities, one of which will be chosen by the jury to build an object, which is not just a private object, but an object that we intend to create an icon of this century for Shkodra, which is very rich in monuments, is very rich in traces of history, where each generation has left its mark and where this building is part of a much wider vision that combines investments public which for Shkodra and the territory that goes up to the wonderful Theth or that is laid on the border with Montenegro are increasing day by day", said Rama.

Further, the prime minister emphasized that the challenge remains the construction of the road segments up to Muriqan of the Blue Corridor, which have a completed segment, but will continue with other segments that will connect Balldren with Milot, Milot with Muriqan and then Balldren with Thumana.

Rama said that in a few days new contracts will be signed for the new segments from Thumana to Kashar that we already have from Kashar to Rrogozhina, from Rrogozhina to Fier and the connection time between Shkodra and Tirana within the decade will be about 45 minutes, while the time of Shkodra's connection with the South will be below what is today's connection time with Tirana.

"Considering the necessity of a very fast and safe connection of Shkodra, either with the north, or with Tirana and the south, the main challenge remains for the construction of the Blue Corridor up to Muriqan, which has a completed segment, but will continue with segments others that will connect Balldren with Milot, Milot with Muriqani and then Balldren with Thumana.

We have clear steps and in the meantime we have done an important part of the work for the projects and in a few days new contracts will be signed for the new segments from Thumana to Kashar that we already have from Kashari to Rrogozhin, from Rrogozhin to Fier and time the connection between Shkodra and Tirana within the decade will be about 45 minutes, while the connection time between Shkodra and the South will be less than today's connection time with Tirana", said Rama./ CNA
