The Head of the Special Prosecution Office, Altin Dumani, in his report to the Laws Committee, was asked by Democratic MP Strazimiri why GJKKO judge Irena Gjoka is not being investigated.
Dumani admitted that the case is in the preliminary investigation phase and cannot provide further details.
The Head of the Special Prosecution Office said that criminal proceedings were registered against Judge Gjoka in June of this year.
" It is in the preliminary investigation phase and we cannot provide information. We have criminal proceedings registered in June 2025 and we are carrying out the necessary investigative actions ," said Altin Dumani./CNA
