The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, stated today that in the activity of the Special Prosecution Institution, the name of the persons under investigation has no influence on the process.

In his speech during the report to the Laws Committee, Dumani said that SPAK prosecutors can investigate any subject, regardless of their image and name in public opinion.

Dumani also shared details from two well-known operations, 'Bridge' and 'Port of Durrës'.

"On May 5 or 6, and on the same day, a meeting was coordinated with the Italian team. They had work to do that they were arrested in Italy. Arrest is not the duty of the Special Prosecution. We cannot be held responsible for this. As for the Port of Durres, a criminal proceeding has begun that is in the preliminary phase. From the information I have, the investigations are in the final process with the information I have. I believe that SPAK has given signs, I am not saying proof because for SPAK prosecutors, evidence is important and we are not interested in names. Our prosecutors can investigate any subject, regardless of their figure," said Dumani. /CNA
