The next court session was held at the Tirana Criminal Court today, where the accuser Erion Veliaj, represented by his lawyer Ermal Yzeriaj of the law firm of the SPAK defendant, Plarent Ndreca, requested reconciliation with CNA and for this purpose proposed to provide the details of a reconciliation agreement in June.

In fact, Erion Veliaj then declares these reconciliation agreements a victory, but this is not our problem.

CNA responds publicly: NO!

We don't have to agree with Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj. All he needs to do is resign from his position as mayor and everything is resolved.

We have nothing to do with citizen Erion Veliaj. We have had every article, report, material, investigation regarding a high-ranking official of the Albanian state such as the mayor of Tirana, who also has a special status as the mayor of the largest municipality in the country.

Erion Veliaj is in Durrës prison and has filed a complaint against CNA in the Criminal Court for an article we wrote a year ago when we said he was going to America to lobby to avoid being arrested, calling it an insult.

In fact, the lobbying came out later and Erion Veliaj paid a full 220 thousand dollars, but that doesn't matter. We have told ZDROM and we will continue to tell him because that's what he called himself.

We told him that he has 13 serious criminal charges because he has them in court. We told him that he has not become a man because he does not go to face justice. For about 9 months he has not gone to court hearings but he postpones them with procedures, sometimes I did not receive notice, sometimes I did not know, sometimes he changes lawyers.

We have told him publicly: be a man, cooperate with justice, acquit Ajola and dozens of other businessmen who were involved. Come out innocent and tomorrow you are a leader of Albanian politics, you have the whole path open to becoming prime minister.

But Erion has chosen to behave like a scoundrel, that's what he calls himself. It's his choice.

Erion Veliaj wants to agree with CNA. For what?

Wasn't there a conciliation session a few months ago where his lawyer from the SPAK defendant's law firm, Plarent Ndreca, came and told us that Erioni would not agree.

In fact, we didn't ask for reconciliation. We wanted to get to the bottom of this issue.

Not only this lawsuit, but also every other lawsuit that has come to us from colleagues, from Erion Veliaj's associates, such as the 5D file, the structured criminal group of incinerators and others.

CNA answers NO, to Erion Veliaj.

We don't have to agree with a mayor with 13 charges, 9 of which are for corruption. No, no.

It is enough for him to resign as mayor, it is enough to apologize to the judges, the prosecutors he attacked with his media, to those who were paid by his brother, to those who were paid by the incinerators and by his collaborators, and he is reconciled with us.

Our mission is to inform the public, protect its interests, not the bargaining and interest of Erion Veliaj, who is seeking today to agree to draw attention to another trial he has opened in the Administrative Court against prosecutor Ols Dado.

There will be no confrontation, no writings, denunciations, investigations, reports about his trials, about his scandals, about his movements, about his schemes and scenarios, but he seeks to take the spotlight to the administrative court, while for 9 months he has not gone to face his criminal trial, dragging his wife and several businessmen, some of them already collaborators of justice, and demanding a summary trial.

Erion Veliaj seeks reconciliation with CNA after rejecting it some time ago.

Why should we agree with a mayor with 9 charges of corruption, abuse of office, laundering the proceeds of crime, concealing assets, and bringing prohibited items into the cell?

Ah, yes! We can agree with Erion Veliaj if SPAK opens an asset investigation and verifies from A to Z who Erion Veliaj is.

After that, we will be ready to agree with Erion Veliaj, his media cronies, and anyone else who has supported the criminal gang of incinerators, the 5D file, the thieving officials of the Tirana municipality, Erion Veliaj's associates, the media associated with them, and anyone else.

Once justice is served, we will reconcile with anyone because we have nothing personal.

Simply and only we have written about the mayor of Tirana, we agree with the free citizen Erion Veliaj, we have no problems.

It is enough for Veliaj to turn from mayor to citizen and we have nothing to do with him, just as we do not deal with any other citizen, except for high-ranking government officials, one of whom and the most important is Erion Veliaj./ CNA
