The Deputy Leader of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, spoke this evening regarding Friday's protest and the continuation of the opposition action.

In a television appearance, Boçi said that the latest protest proved that the people and the opposition will not abandon the square until the final goal is achieved.

He said that the protests will not stop, while condemning police violence against protesters. He also warned that the protests will take place in other forms, which the DP Parliamentary Group has supported to be realized.

"The protest proved that people are there and do not leave the square and manage their anger related to the purpose of the protest. It was proven that there is no withdrawal from either the DP or the people. There is no reconciliation with evil and corruption. They will continue because this is a war and a battle. All the violence that was carried out in the protest proves that they are at the limits of maintaining nervous calm. This shows that the public has won the battle of resistance and calm nerves. The DP will continue until the goal is achieved. There are other forms and ways of carrying out the protest, forms that have been requested and that the DP Parliamentary Group has shown readiness for these forms. We also analyze the participation. The protest has the spirit, participation and messages. The participation is still in the thousands. It is not easy to manage seven protests normally. The violence did not happen only in the last protest. The violence comes from nervousness" , said Boçi. /CNA
