Adriana Kala's strong accusations: Dirty money ties up the Constitutional

Lawyer Adriana Kalaja has spoken about corruption affairs in Albania, saying that it is dirty money that connects the towers, the court, the Albanian government, the Albanian Parliament, and even, according to her, the Constitutional Court.

Kalaja has made strong accusations, saying that there are judges who are paid with cryptocurrencies.

"We watch the television shows of the incinerators, the ones that we remember until yesterday, I believe, that used to advertise what the incinerator would be like, and they even have the courage to say to this day, how good the incinerator was, which still does not exist to this day. Meanwhile, these are the same media that used to advertise the Port of Durres.

And the whole connection I want to make, both with this bank and with the situation of financial transactions in Albania, is dirty money.

This is the A and Z that connects the towers, connects drugs, connects the Albanian government, connects the Albanian Parliament if you want, connects the Constitutional Court if you want. Because there are judges who are paid with cryptocurrencies.

Meanwhile, what is most essential, besides the fact that, as I said, dirty money connects everything, is the role of the Bank of Albania.

Why does the Bank of Albania not play its role as controller and auditor in the most decisive moments?

Now we are ahead, we are taking the 50,000, 50,000 members who, according to online media, have told us that they have become members of this bank as a fait accompli.

We have 50,000 Albanian and foreign citizens, perhaps, who have submitted their generalities, their life data. And all of this, all of it, as long as it is a bank with dubious capital, with dubious partners, with dubious connections, with zero history... and with an impressive history in terms of criminal offenses.

So, we have all included in a harmonious, perfect way, how a bank should not be. So, we have the Bank of Albania approving the creation of a digital bank with all the indicators that should actually be exclusionary criteria.

Now, I have a nature that means I value everyone's work and we are faced with the fact that with all the problems and difficulties that the Democratic Party has, because of all this, there is all the dirty money circulating in the country.

I am not one of those who denounce the corrupt connections of the burned Palace and we are accused of being the opposition. That is, the other person burns it and steals it and issues a permit and it is said that the opposition is the one.

Just like the residents of Baks-Rrjoll or anywhere else, they vote for the Albanian government, sell them out, then say no, it's Sali Berisha's fault. So I'm not part of this group. The opposition and every Albanian citizen in my opinion should do their duty. And now let's go back a little to the role of the Bank of Albania.

"Where was this Bank of Albania when an oligarchic company bought a bank? It is not allowed. It is not allowed. For an oligarch who has large holdings in the market, especially real estate, to buy a bank. It was passed over in silence," said Kalaja./ CNA
