Oil price/ "Albania Becomes" movement files complaint with SPAK

The "Albania Becomes" movement filed a complaint with SPAK today regarding the price of oil in the country.

The movement's vice president and lawyer Dorina Prethi, after leaving SPAK, said that they have requested an investigation into all situations related to abuse of office or pollution of ecosystems.

The lawyer said that SPAK should investigate all oil and hydrocarbon contracts, to see if there was corruption by officials or cases where citizens abused the underground.

" We have requested that all situations regarding abuse of office, destruction of property and pollution of water, air and land be investigated. We are all witnesses that today we have the highest oil price in the region and why we are a country that produces oil. A considerable part is poured into the underground and damages the flora and fauna. We ask SPAK to investigate all oil and hydrocarbon contracts. To investigate cases of whether there was corruption on the part of senior officials or citizens who have abused the underground ," said Prethi.
