"We will block the deputies"/ Protesters warn of another protest in

Citizens have warned at today's rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office that tomorrow they will protest in front of Parliament at the same time as the plenary session begins. One of the protesters said that tomorrow they will block the entry of deputies into the Assembly.

"Yesterday the police forces exercised disgusting violence, so tomorrow everyone at 10:00 at the Parliament. Police officers should be careful because citizens have the power to fire you and send you to prison. The Parliament is ours, not theirs, you do not represent us, you do not represent the diaspora, our aspirations. Tomorrow we will stop them from entering the Parliament ," the protester said. 

We recall that a day ago a protest took place in front of the Parliament where there were tensions and clashes between protesters and police forces.

The incidents began after protesters threw eggs at the car of Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu and other MPs. As a result of the tensions, some of the protesters were escorted to the police station but were released after a few hours.

Meanwhile, on July 4, the diaspora is expected to come to Tirana again and the number of protesters will be very high. /CNA
