The Supreme Court will review on July 16 the appeal of former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, to overturn the measure of suspension from office.

The measure against Balluk was imposed at the request of SPAK and was previously confirmed by the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, as well as by other levels of the Judiciary.

Balluku was indicted in October 2025 for violating equality in tenders, in connection with the Llogara Tunnel procedures.

While in November 2025, she was also taken under investigation for suspected violations in 7 lots of the Grand Ring Road, and she was also suspended from duty. /CNA
