Prosecutor General Olsian Çela attended the hearing held at the Electoral Reform Commission. In his speech, Çela said that training on electoral crime investigations will further strengthen the operational capacities of the prosecution and police.

The Chief Prosecutor stated that the data collection system is relatively flawed. Also focusing on the annual reports of the prosecutors' offices, Çela said that they need to delve deeper into electoral crime.

 

" Election investigation training will further strengthen the operational capacities of the prosecution system and the state police."

Experience has shown that it is important to have rapid coordination for prevention. Prosecutors' offices have processed referred cases and have cooperated with responsible institutions. A consolidated system is needed where referrals are qualitative and cooperation is efficient.
