Financing of political parties/ ODIHR: There should be transparency and controls over donations
The OSCE/ODIHR has recently published an Urgent Interim Op...

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has denied the accusations of the tax collector and slanderer Adriatik Doçi, who has claimed that the leader of the Democratic Party has 40 houses and is the most corrupt politician in the Balkans.
Berisha emphasizes that the professional tax collector and slanderer, convicted and confirmed by official bodies, Adriatik Doçi, has issued the next slander according to his appetite and that of his masters.
Berisha says that first of all, he is the only politician to have been subjected to a full 35-year vetting by his opponents.
The former prime minister also states that this vetting has proven that, during his 35 years in politics, he and his wife have a total of around 100 thousand euros in savings from 55 years of work and an apartment only 40 m2 larger than the one they had during the years of dictatorship.
He further emphasizes that his children, as subjects of income declaration in the ILDKPI, have never benefited from public funds or assets.
Finally, Berisha warns that the convicted slanderer, Adriatik Doçi, and the looter of 4,500 m2 of land designated for a high school, Carlo Bollino, will face the law.
"Refutation."
Today, a proven tax collector and convicted slanderer, unofficial spokesman for Linda Rama, Adriatik Doçi, writes in the newspaper of the disgraced Carlo Bollino that through Edi Rama's firms he has plundered 4,500 square meters of land (which the owners had generously given for the construction of a high school for the community) for 1 euro.
He claims that Berisha 'owns 40 houses and is the richest and most corrupt politician in the Balkans'.
Regarding the above, I declare the following:
1. The professional slanderer and slanderer, convicted and confirmed by official bodies, Adriatik Doçi, has issued the next slander according to his appetite and that of his masters.
2. Sali Berisha is today the only politician to have been subjected to a full 35-year vetting by his opponents.
3. This vetting has proven that Sali Berisha, during his 35 years in politics, together with his wife, have a total of around 100 thousand euros in savings from 55 years of work and an apartment only 40 m2 larger than the one they had during the years of dictatorship.
4. This vetting has proven that Sali Berisha's children, as subjects of income declaration in the ILDKPI, have never benefited from public funds or assets, have fully respected the law and have rigorously declared all their assets as required by law.
5. For all these low fabrications, the convicted slanderer, Adriatik Doçi, and the looter of 4,500 m2 of land designated for a high school, the mafioso Carlo Bollino, will face the law," Berisha declared in a post on social media./ CNA
