The double standard in law enforcement/Police fine 50 million the citizens, and only 10 million Lek Ben Blushi

On Thursday evening, a denunciation was made by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, and then CNA.al published exclusive videos where in ?Pub Republika? in Korça, owned by Ben Blushi, was organized a party with about 200 people, exactly at a time when the country is in isolation due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

For 2 days in a row, the police tried to pass this scandal in silence, and only yesterday at noon made an announcement where they said what really happened, and announced that they had imposed an administrative measure, although they have not distributed the fine for media. But here we are again facing a scandal. Some young people who protested for the murder of the young Klodian Rasha, where there were a maximum of 20 or 30 people in front of the Municipality of Korça, were fined 50 million Lek for organizing the protest or for gathering at the time of the pandemic, which could endanger the health of people.

And at that time the Prime Minister himself, the Minister of Interior, and the Minister of Health appealed to avoid protests, as it is a time of pandemics, and that they posed a threat to life. While the protest was taking place in the open, and many of the protesters had put masks on their faces.

Regardless of how the event went and the consequences it had, even though the citizens protested in the open, they were fined with 50 million Lek, because their action endangered the lives of people. Meanwhile, Ben Blush?s bar on the first day of closing after 20:30 was not fined 50 million but only 10 million Lek.

So the poor citizen, the young people, those who protest for the injustices done to them, are fined 50 million Lek because they protest in the open square. While Blushi?s bar was gathering 200 people, turning into a ?health bomb? as it is an enclosed environment with air conditioning and heating system, where the virus can spread in a frightening way, is fined only 10 million Lek.

50 million for the citizens and 10 million Lek for Blushi, one of the mother and the other of the stepmother, because the director of police is afraid of Ben Blushi, because this latter is the friend of the minister, while the citizen drowns in fines to plunge him even deeper into poverty and misery.

This is the difference, and this is the next police scandal, 50 million for the citizens and 10 million for Blushi, for the same issue, and even though the citizens were in an open environment, and Blushi in a closed environment./CNA.al
