Polls of SP and PD, SMI towards total crumbling

Political parties have started their campaign. The Democratic Party mainly in the media level, while the Socialist Party after closing a field tour, has returned to media movements. The Socialist Movement for Integration also seems to be very active on the ground.

But Astrit Patozi?s Democratic Conviction and Jozefina Topalli?s Movement for Change are also in daily communication with Albanians. All these political actions, are accompanied by polls which are repeated week after week with various questionnaires, to understand what will be the direction of the citizens?vote, what are their expectations, in order to move forward with electoral strategies.

The parties are trying to read their vote, but also that of the opponent. What stands out are the expectations that big allies have for small parties. There are 4 new political forces that are expected to run in this election, the Movement for Change of Topalli, Knitting Initiative, the party of Myslym Murrizi and the Democratic Conviction of Astrit Patozi.

These new political factors, including the SMI, PSD or other small parties may be the difference of tomorrow?s government, so the big political forces in their polls have always included small parties. In the last two government terms, the SMI has determined the winner.

But now it seems that now is losing this ?luxury?. According to polls published in the media, but also those kept secret by the offices of the Renaissance, the SMI has an unstoppable contraction, and at the national level doesn?t stand even 3-4 percent, and in some counties will not be able to provide either mandates as before.

The DP is more cautious in its polls, and puts the SMI slightly higher but weaker than before. According to data from Lulzim Basha?s party, recent polls show a sharp decline in the SMI, which could go even further than halving the vote.

These polls clearly show the phenomenon that has happened recently with the ?golden? party of Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi. Important political figures of this force, former MPs, former ministers and loyalists of Ilir Meta have fled from Kryemadhi to Edi Rama, joining the party from where they left 16 years ago.

Monika and her policy couldn?t keep the SMI united, and it seems that the departures are bringing their effects. Ilir Meta?s party is heading towards a total collapse, and what Rama and Basha couldn?t do together, is doing Monica with her hand./CNA.al
