The Independent Qualification Commission has dismissed the prosecutor of Elbasan, Petref Asllani.

The prosecutor had problems with the property in the revaluation process. KPK noticed unclear statements, contradictory contracts on transactions and lack of resources for the property in the amount of over 6 million ALL.

Asllani has faced doubts about his wealth before.

The investigations started after the report of the High Inspectorate of Assets Declaration. From the investigations, at that time it turned out that the prosecutor Petref Asllani and the judge Qani Hasa, in cooperation with each other, had lied in the declaration of wealth.

It was about an apartment, which was owned by prosecutor Petref Asllani and which, through a soft loan from the Housing Authority, Elbasan branch, was sold to judge Qani Hasa.

But, from the investigation of the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, it was found that Judge Hasa, despite having declared the purchase of the apartment of Prosecutor Asllani, in reality had bought an apartment in Tirana.

Meanwhile, prosecutor Asllani, despite having stated that he had received the money from Qani Hasa, according to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, he did not receive that money from Hasa, but has lived in that apartment since 2003, when the citizen Hasa stated that he bought it. , until 2013, when this apartment was sold to another citizen.

But after reviewing the case, the Criminal Chamber at the Court of Tirana decided to acquit the prosecutor Petref Asllani and sentence the judge Hasa with a fine of 200,000 ALL.
