OFFICIAL/ Atalanta chooses new coach

Atalanta have found a new coach. The club from Bergamo have announced that Raffaele Palladino has been appointed as the team's new manager and has signed a contract that will keep him in charge until the summer of 2027.

The decision comes at a difficult moment for Atalanta, which, after the end of the Gian Piero Gasperini era, has failed to restore the balance and performance of recent years.

At the beginning of this season, Ivan Juric took charge of the team, but poor results and a lack of continuity forced the club to end its cooperation with the Croatian coach.

After the first 11 weeks of Serie A, Atalanta is ranked 13th, with only two wins and a series of draws that have significantly removed them from their European targets.
