President Duka visits Elite Youth footballers in Durrës

The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, visited the 9-year school "Benardina Qerraxhia" in Durrës, where the Football Federation, in collaboration with the Municipality of Durrës, helped in the construction of the sports field, which will be at the service of all students.

The children of the Elite Youth Development Academy also develop their activities at this school, a project that aims to raise and educate new generations of Albanian footballers, combining educational and sports training.

During the meeting with students, teachers and school principals, President Duka praised the importance of education through sports and the spirit of cooperation between educational institutions, municipalities and the Albanian Football Association for the development of young talents.

"Football is a team game, no one can win the game alone and no one loses it alone. We are trying to educate you in this spirit and with the help of teachers, the Mayor and the Minister of Education, to educate you as best as possible, at school with lessons first, and football second, or both in parallel. You should not only watch football and skip lessons, or vice versa. We are proud and honored of you, because you are a good generation, a generation with talent, but you must use your talent. Train more, learn more, be more disciplined and demand even more from yourself. This is just the beginning of the beginning for you. You have started well, but you have a long road ahead, and not so easy," said President Duka.

The Albanian Football Federation, within the framework of its program for the development of sports infrastructure in schools and communities, will continue to support such projects that promote sports, education and the growth of children through football.
