Florentino Perez was rumored to be leaving Real Madrid in 2026, but Spanish media reports that the president has no intention of resigning before the end of his term.

According to Onda Cero and COPE, the idea of ??an early retirement has not been considered by Perez at all. The speculation began due to planned reforms at the club, where an extraordinary meeting on the membership model will be held in 2025.

Perez is expected to present his proposals and discuss them with the members at the General Assembly on 22–23 November 2025. Within the club, he enjoys full support and his current mandate extends until 2029.
