He is shining in Italy, the future of the talented striker is being decided

Real Madrid and Como appear to have reached an agreement for next summer. According to Italian media, Argentine talent Nico Paz, currently part of the Italian club, is expected to return to Madrid at the end of the season, as the Spanish champions are ready to activate the €9 million buy-back clause.

The 20-year-old, who joined last summer for €6m, has been in excellent form under Cesc Fabregas, becoming one of the key players in Como's sporting project. The clause included in the agreement with Real Madrid allows the Spanish club to buy back the player for a fee well below his current market value.

However, the story does not end there. In the final days of the summer transfer window, Tottenham presented a bid of 70 million euros to secure the services of Paz, a sum that would bring a huge profit to the Italian club. But due to contractual agreements, Como would only benefit from half of the amount, as Real Madrid owns 50% of the economic rights of the player. Furthermore, the Spanish club has the right to match any offer, which made the transfer to London practically impossible.

In this situation, the leaders of both clubs decided to reject Tottenham's offer, leaving the player at Como for at least another season. There is a gentleman's agreement that Real Madrid will compensate Como for the work of developing and growing the player, with an amount higher than the 9 million clause.

At the end of the season, it is expected that both clubs will sit down in talks to determine a more realistic price for Paz's transfer, which could reach 30 or even 40 million euros.
