Milan-Como in Australia, other Italian clubs also benefit

After UEFA's approval, only FIFA's official announcement is expected for the Milan-Como match to be held in the Australian city of Perth in February 2026.

The decision brings a special occasion in European football, as the Italian championship match will be played abroad. The match is expected to take place on February 7 or 8 and will have a considerable economic value, around 12 million euros in total.

The majority of the proceeds will go to Milan and Como, with the remainder split between the other Serie A clubs. The organisers will cover the teams' travel and accommodation costs. Season ticket holders in Italy will be reimbursed for the match, with the option to buy new tickets in Australia.

For Milan, this will be their third visit to Perth in two years, following two previous friendlies against Roma and Perth Glory.
