Second friendly, U-19 National Team draws 2-2 with Ireland

The U-19 national team drew 2-2 in the second friendly against Ireland, held today at the Luz Stadium.

For the Red and Blacks, the goals were scored in the second half by Nuredini and Kulla.

Coach Juljan Ahmataj started the match with this starting lineup: Culi, Avdullari, Çekrezi, Sina, Huqi, Krasniqi, Nuredini, Kulla, Yoni El Malem, Llana and Sheji.

No goals were scored in the first half, while in the second half the visitors started better and took the lead through Daniel Mare in the 53rd minute.

Albania's reaction was immediate, as the Rossoneri overturned the score. Initially, Joi Xheto Nuredini equalized in the 62nd minute, while Gabriel Kulla scored the second goal in the 70th minute, bringing the score to 2-1.

When everything was going towards the end, Ireland found the equalizer through Pijus Otegbayo and the match ended 2-2.

The two friendlies against Ireland ended with a win and a draw for Albania U-19.

These friendlies were the final test for the Rossoneri before the start of the U-19 European Championship qualifiers, which will be played next month.
