The calendar favors Albania, the Rossoneri have their fate in their hands

Albania has achieved a historic victory over Serbia, thanks to a goal by Rei Manaj, keeping alive their hopes of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. With this success, Silvinho's red and blacks are currently ranked second in Group K, with four points more than Serbia, although with one more match played. The race for second place remains open, as Serbia still has a chance to recover.

In November, Albania will play its last two group matches: on November 13 away against Andorra and on November 16 at “Air Albania” against England. Meanwhile, Serbia will face Andorra on October 14, England on November 13 and Latvia at home on November 16.

Despite the current advantage, the fate of qualification will be decided in the final weeks of qualifying matches.
