The Albanian national team has begun training today for two friendly matches against Israel and Luxembourg.

The Albanian Football Association's Communications Department announces that defender Ardian Ismajli has been removed from the squad after his physical condition was assessed by the national team's medical staff.

Ismajli initially joined the national team, but since he was coming off a muscle problem that had kept him off the field for several weeks and had only returned to the game in the last match of the season, he appeared in sub-optimal physical condition and was not fully ready for the two scheduled friendly matches.

After consultations between the technical staff and the player, as well as a meeting with coach Rolando Maran, it was decided that Ismajli would return to his club to continue his recovery program and return to his best form as soon as possible.
