Second Champions League triumph, Luis Enrique makes history

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has recorded a historic achievement in European football after securing success in the Champions League final against Arsenal.

With this second consecutive triumph in the most important club competition, the technician became the first coach from Spain to defend the title since Jose Villalonga. This last record was set by the former Real Madrid helmsman during the distant 1955/56 and 1956/57 seasons.

The repetition of this success after almost seven decades confirms the important work done by the technical staff at the head of the Parisian bench.

The match won in Budapest secured the club the second consecutive trophy in their history. Now, with this performance, the club's leaders aim to maintain the same pace and dominance for the upcoming football seasons.
