Not just the salary, it is revealed why Asllani's transfer to Bologna failed

Kristjan Asllani has chosen to transfer to Turin, although he was close to Bologna.

The Albanian national team midfielder had requested a salary of 2 million euros, while Bologna initially offered 1.7 million, but according to Italian media, the main reason for the termination of the agreement was not financial.

Bologna had no room to sign players over the age of 23, having failed to sign Croatian Nikola Moro to Sassuolo. For this reason, Asllani chose Torino, who were willing to make room in the squad for him.

Inter benefits from 1.5 million euros from the loan and 12 million euros from a conditional purchase obligation. This summer was busy for the Albanian midfielder, after participating as a starter in the Club World Cup and statements from the black and blue leaders that he was no longer part of the project.

Asllani transferred to Inter in 2022, but failed to become an undisputed starter, leaving with 99 appearances and 4 goals.
