Italian club sells midfielder, ready to sign with Zhegrova

Juventus and Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement for the transfer of Douglas Luiz. The Brazilian midfielder, after just one year in Turin, will return to the Premier League for a fee of around 30 million euros.

The formula is a loan with an obligation to buy linked to the number of appearances the player makes, which in case of non-fulfillment will be converted into a purchase right. This operation would cause a deficit of around 10 million euros for Juventus.

Luiz's departure will create financial space for the approach of Edon Zhegrova from Lille, with a possible cost of between 18 and 20 million euros. The Italian club has reached a preliminary agreement with the player's agent for a contract until 2030 with a salary of around 2.5 million euros.

Olympique Marseille has also shown interest in Zhegrova, but Juventus seems to be in a more favorable position. The operations are expected to be completed within the last days of the transfer window.
